Who may participateTo Gothia Innebqandy Cup all teams are welcome. The only condition is that the club is registered with its country’s Floorball federation. The competition starts with the group play. The teams are divide into groups of four or five where all teams will meet in a round robin series. The first and second team in the group qualifies for ”Play-off A”, the other teams in the group for ”Play-off B”. All play off games will be decided by the cup system, which is by direct elimination. Class B11 is played in accordance with the rules of Swedish FF. No Play-Off will be played and no winner declared. There will instead be a group play with 7 teams in each group.

DispensationDispensations will automatically be given to two players per squad who are maximum one year over aged. Note that you cannot use more players by switching them between matches. No other dispensation is given. Girls may play in boy’s teams in all classes without any dispensation. Dispensations are meant for players that because of social reasons would not be able to participate in the tournament. We kindly ask you to think about fair play and not misuse this regulation. |
Number of teams in the tournamentIt is our aim that all teams wishing to take part in the Gothia Innebandy Cup are able to do so. However, there will be a maximum of 380 teams with accommodation at school/hotel and 130 other teams. The teams paying their team fees first will be given priority. A club may enter a maximum of two teams in each age class.There is no limit to the number of players in each team. However you can use maximum 20 players for each match.
Categories of participationYou can chose to participate in any of the following categories: School accommodation (A): January 3-6. Sleeping bag or bed are not included in the price. Bring a mattress and a blanket. You can also rent beds and bedding from us for Euro 25 per bed. All meals is included. The first meal is lunch on January 3 and the last meal is lunch on January 6. Minimum one, maximum four leaders per team may stay in the school. Everyone staying at the school has to pay the accommodation fee. Hotel accommodation (B): January 3-6. Contact Gothia Innebandy Cup for price information. Lunch and dinner at nearby schools can be purchased separately at EURO 50 for 7 meals. Own accommodation (C): Maximum 30 teams in this category. The teams paying their team fees first will be given priority.

Hotel bookings for parents and supportersOnly players and a maximum of four team leaders per team can be accommodated in schools. TransferWe can help teams with accommodation through Gothia Innebandy Cup to arrange their transfer to and from the airport, ferry or train station at self cost price. Please contact Gothia Innebandy Cup for more information.
InsuranceEach team leaders must make sure that all participants carry their own insurance, both on and off the field. Gothia Innebandy Cup does not carry any group insurance, and is not responsible for, protecting participants in case of injury, illness, theft or damage to property. WE ASK ALL PARTICIPANTS AND LEADERS NEVER TO LEAVE VALUABLE ITEMS OR MONEY AT THE SCHOOL! Neither the Gothia Innebandy Cup can be held liable by delegates for any damages, costs or losses incurred from war, warlike events, civil war, revolution, insurrection or cause of government action, strike, lockout, blockade (force majeure) or similar events. Under these conditions, the tournament organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration/accommodation fee and to use it for a future tournament, or to reimburse the delegate after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the tournament and which could not be recovered from third parties.
Entry and paymentsRegister via our web page www.gothiainnebandycup.se. When we have received the team fee we will confirm your participation. To secure your place in the tournament please register and pay your team fee as soon as possible. The date for your registration will be the day we receive your entry fee. The accommodation fees must be paid no later than November 20, 2012. Refunds of accommodation fees could only be made when the Gothia Innebandy Cup receives your withdrawal notice before December 10, 2012. After December 10 a doctor’s certificate is required. Please note that the doctor’s certificate must be received by Gothia Innebandy Cup no later than 31 January 2013. The team fee is not refundable.
