About Gothia Cup
Gothia Innebandy Cup is the world’s largest and most international floorball event. Each year, around 460 teams from 6-8 nations participate and more than 1300 matches are played on 25 courts. The tournament is played each year over the Swedish holiday “trettonhelgen” in Gothenburg. Over 10,000 floorball youths then gather to participate in the biggest floorball event.
The match is the key during the Gothia Innebandy Cup. In total, more than 1300 matches are played. Playing matches against teams from other countries is very stimulating and developing for young players. Our goal is that every match should be exciting, challenging and something to remember for the rest of the players’ lives, regardless of results.
Every match in the Gothia Innebandy Cup is reported live on our website. Here you can follow the matches live in real time. See when a goal is scored, who scored the goal and who assisted. We also broadcast the matches live from some courts. From these courts you can watch the match live with audio and graphics. During the finals, we also use commentators.
Fair play is something we promote. To behave good towards both team mates, referees and opponents.
