Prague Tigers participates with three teamsThere are a lot of Czech teams participating in the Gothia Innebandy Cup 2018. One of them is the Prague Tigers who have teams in the B11, B13 and B16 class.
It’s not hard to figure out where Prague Tigers comes from. Their home is the Czech capital, Prague, and the club has over 250 active members. Prague Tigers has only been around for around 17 years, and today the club focus mainly on educating and developing their youth teams. Since 2010, the club collaborates with the elementary school ZŠ Generála Janouška, enabling children to develop their playing skills in school.
This is the second time Prague Tigers participates in the Gothia Innebandy Cup, which is the only foreign tournament the club participates in. This year, Prague Tigers comes with a squad of a total of 60 people and they travel to Gothenburg mainly to gain experience, according to one of team coaches Vladimír Jambor. Vladimír also looks forward to play games against teams that they are usually not opposed to. The friendly atmosphere in Gothenburg is also one of the reasons they choose to come back.
It’s just over a month left until tournament start and we hope, of course, that the Prague Tigers will have a wonderful experience in Gothenburg in January!
