It’s the last day of Gothia Innebandy Cup 2017 and time for the finals. This article will get updated thoughout the day.
FBC Lerum vs. Pixbo Wallenstam IBF G13 2-4
Two strong teams with two big supporter crowds are facing each other in the final, both from Gothenburg. Lerum is close to scoring in the first minute of the game, the opponents not far behind. After half of the first period Lerum show great chances of scoring. A real tight game is what the crowd is watching in Valhalla A.
9.23 scores Pixbo their first goal by number 22, Frida Hellström. The crowd goes crazy. What an atmosphere! Short after Pixbo are close to scoring again, it looks like they are taking over the game. Lerum is trying to pressure the defenders in Pixbo but they done look stressed at all.
15.12 Lerum goal by number 9, Ida Haverman. After putting Pixbo under pressure it pays off for Lerum who scores. Short after the Lerum team scores again, Ellinor Falk, a wonderful goal. Pixbo scores not long after an amazing goal by number 18, Moa Eklund (2-2).
In the second period Pixbo are several times close to taking the lead but Lerum show close after that they are still in the game. In this tight game everything depends on which team who scores in their goal chances. After half of the second period the Lerum fan club scream as loud as they can. The supporters from Pixbo is not far behind with raising their voices. Wow what an exciting final! Pixbo scores again 2-3 by Axina Pettersson. Lerums coach is trying to coach his players on the bench. Pixbo looks like they are soon closing the game but Lerum still have a few minutes to score. Pixbo scores again, number 21 Axina Pettersson. Lerum takes time out. Can this help them win the game? The answer is no, Pixbo are the winners.

Hovslätts IK vs. IBK Lund G14 6-4
Another really exciting final in Valhalla A. IBK Lund takes the lead in the game in the beginning of the game and show up great floorball. It is really crowded in Valhalla A at this moment. Both teams have massive fan clubs screaming from the stands. Minna Karlsson is the first goal scorer from the Lund team. Short after they are close to scoring again but Hovslätt is the next team to score, 1-1 by number 4 Tilda Almqvist. Wow this is so exciting. The crowd is buzzing. IBK Lund scores one, and two more goals. The result is now 1-3. But Hovslätt are still in the game and are close to scoring again and they do so with only a few minutes left of the first period. 2-3 and it’s time for a paus.
In the second period we hear the fans in the crowd even more. It is a crowded arena waiting for the finishing result of the final in G14. The team from Lund looks like they are really here to win. The both fan clubs are trying to be the loudest one, it’s truly an amazing atmosphere in here. In the end of the game it’s still really exciting. Hovslätt does not give up to easy and the team scores with only seconds left 3-3. The penalties is not far away now. The two teams looks like they are prepared for penalties.

Bankeryd SMK vs. FBC Liberec B14 6-1
Bankeryd takes the lead early in the game and show that they are here to beat the team from Czech Republic. When the team is in the lead with 3-0 Bankeryd gets one player suspended for 2 minutes and even though they are playing boxplay they score 4-0 by Alfred Sandström.
In the second period the team from Bankeryd continue to show great “floorball candy” at the pitch for the supporters in Valhalla A. It looks like it’s gonna be an comfortable win when they score the sixth goal in the beginning of the second period. FBC Liberec have many supporters from the club cheering on them, hoping this will give the players extra energy in the last 15 minutes. The team from Czech Republic have not given up yet. They show great fighting spirit during the whole game. With three minutes left of the game Matusu Tomas scores from FBC Liberec. Will they have time to score more goals? No, Bankeryd is unstoppable in this years tournament.

Hovslätts IK vs. Lindås Waves IBK B15 3-2
In the last final in Valhalla A we get to experience a close game that can end in both ways. The ball goes from one team to the other. Our commentator thinks that the game will depend on who scores the most in power play because both teams have showed that they have great skills when it comes to power play.
1-0 scores Kim Emilsson in Hovslätts IK after 17 minutes, short after Lindås Waves scores 1-1, a goal by Viktor Bergqvist, the both goals happened during power play. It truly is an intense game with two really strong teams. Emil Kalentun scores the 1-2 goal for Lindås but Adam Bäck in Hovslätt IK is not far behind, scoring 2-2.
Loud supporters scream in a crowded Valhalla. It is an unbeliveably close game and it is indeed difficult to guess who’s gonna bring the trophy home. The forwards in Lindås Waves runs back on the pitch to help out the defenders, could this be deciding the final result? Lots of nervous fans screams from the stands. Both teams show that they can play great defense, it is so difficult to score right now. Will this intense game end in penalties? The goalies save lots of goal chances for the both teams, exactly what is needed in this final.
The players from both teams gets applauded for great floorball by the audience. With only three games left the crowd tries to cheer on the players to score the deciding goal. The last final is definitely one of the most exciting ones. Hovslätts IK gets to finish the final with power play, does this mean the trophy is theirs? It’s a golden opportunity for the players. 19.26 Wille Knuthas scores 3-2 and the players from Hovslätt seems to be the winners. Yes, the clock is ticking and the champions are Hovslätts IK.
